The voice fills up the entire barn

Kathleen Edwards treats us to some sympathy

The first act at the enitre festival is a Canadian singer and songwriter who is somewhat of an unusual figure at a festival where most people seem to have come to see hard punkrock.

Nonetheless Kathleen Edwards treats us to a sympathic americana performance, with a voice which really fills up the old wooden barn and insightful songs which find a nicely guitarstuddered road from Lucinda Williams to Neil Young.
